On August 2, Instagram introduced a new, familiar feature: Instagram Stories.
Instagram Stories let’s you share all the moments of your day through multiple photos and videos, known as your story. Similar to Snapchat Stories, the photos and videos posted to your story will disappear after 24 hours and won’t appear on your Instagram profile.
With Instagram Stories, you won’t have to worry about posting twice (or more) in a day. Share what you want, as much as you want – whenever.
Although Instagram Stories does not boast your favorite dog filter or face-swapping feature, you can still bring your story to life with text and drawing tools.
At this point, you’re probably asking yourself how you should use Instagram Stories to interact with your followers. Or perhaps you’re sweating at the thought of having to create additional content on social.
Well, don’t fret. Instagram Stories is here to stay. With more than 500 million active accounts and 300 million daily users, Instagram’s impact on your social media strategy is undeniable.
